SFDC: Our dental practice is unique in many ways. Dr. Elizondo Marinescu and Dr. Sorin Marinescu graduated together from Boston University and are married. They have been practicing together over 25 years with their associates in a family environment.

We treat all our patients as family by listening to their needs, concerns and expectations, and following through with their dental wishes. Our friendly front staff is trained to accommodate any emergencies promptly.

Patch: Tell us about your background and that of your team.


SFDC: All doctors and clinical staff are licensed and up to date with all current training and technology. Our front office staff has a strong customer service and insurance background. Our current team has been together for over 15 years.

Patch: Sudbury Family Dental Care boasts a state-of-the-art facility. How does it uphold this?


SFDC: Our practice is an all-digital practice with the latest technologies, including digital intraoral camera and digital X-rays. We have incorporated the newest materials and techniques. We also have the newest teeth-whitening system.


Patch: What resources does the practice offer its patients outside of dental services?


SFDC: Our website explains the latest technologies and newest development in dentistry, which are used in our office.


Patch: What can new patients expect from their first visit?


SFDC: New patients can expect a warm welcome. We will listen to their immediate needs and do a complete evaluation in a comfortable atmosphere. We will answer all of their questions clearly and thoroughly. Our goal is to exceed their expectations.

SFDC: Our professional team strives to put our “patient first." We are dedicated and committed to provide every patient uncompromising excellence. Through continuing education, using the latest technology and dental materials enables us to accomplish our goals. Each patient will be made as comfortable as possible. We listen to all of our patients concerns, wants and needs. Our compassion sets us above others practices.


Patch: How has dentistry changed throughout the years? What does Sudbury Family Dental Care do to stay ahead of new developments?


SFDC: Diagnostic technologies have changed. There is now technology to detect decay. Materials used for restorative have also changed. The dental industry has gone digital. There are new and improved instruments. We have invested in all these new technologies so that we remain at the top of our field.


Patch: What is next for Sudbury Family Dental Care? How do you envision the future of the practice?


SFDC: At SFDC we strive to stay up to date on all the changes with the newest materials and technology. We will continue to bring in associates in all areas of dentistry that share our “patient first” philosophy, as well as our vision to remain a highly respected dental practice.


Patch: What three tips can you offer to readers seeking to improve or maintain their oral hygiene?


SFDC:

  1. Follow the recommended protocol (brushing, flossing and rinsing) as recommended by dental professionals.
  2. Ask any questions or concerns you have from what toothpaste to use to surgical concerns. We are always available to answer any question.
  3. Remember, oral hygiene is an important part to keeping your body health. Many medical issues have been detected during routine dental exams.
