More than 500 customers in Framingham were without power Sunday morning, at the height of the outage.

A car crash in downtown Framingham, near Hartford Street, knocked out power to hundreds of customers in Framingham, Sunday morning, Feb. 21.

Crews on the scene, who were repairing the intersection, said it was a 2-car crash.
Police spokesperson was not available with details on the crash.

One car struck a pole. A Patch reader said a “pole was in half, tangled in branches.”
More than 500 customers in Framingham were without power Sunday morning, at the height of the outage.
Around 11:30 a.m. Eversource was reporting the outage was down to about 250 customers.
Power has since been restored to all but a couple dozen customers just after 1 p.m.
