2% of Framingham Still Without Power

Twenty-four hours after the winter storm began, about 650 customers in Framingham are still without power.

Eversource is reporting at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, 2 percent of Framingham is without electricity or 628 customers.

Several neighborhoods have been without power since 8 or 9 a.m. on Friday.

At the height of the storm on Friday, about 10 percent of Framingham was without power or more than 3,000 customers.

Across Massachusetts, almost 90,000 customers were without power at one point on Friday during Winter Storm Lexi.

That number dropped to 6 and 7 percent throughout the storm, but as of last night, around 11 p.m., Eversource was reporting about 3 percent of the town without power or about 750 customers.

Residents, who may be on generators, should be running them from outside their homes or in a well-ventilated area to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.
