1. An Ashland man is in critical condition after an early-morning crash in Framingham on Sunday. Police said his car was found after it struck a tree. The man, 27, needed to be flown to Boston for treatment. Click here for more details.

2. After an investigation, the Framingham High boys volleyball coach has been re-hired for the 2016 season, announced Principal Elyse Torbert on Monday.

Head coach Emily Viti will be continuing as the boys coach, after not being renewed for the girls job this past fall. 

3. Framingham Selectmen and Framingham School Committee are both meeting tonight at 7.

On the Selectmen’s agenda is a joint meeting with the EDIC and the Planning Board on a neighborhood plan for Saxonville and a vote on Article 3 of the Special Town Meeting later this month on purchasing the property at 85 Bethany Road for a future school. Selectmen will decide if they wish to co-sponsor the article.

  • Girls basketball hosts Braintree High at 6:30 p.m.
  • Boys basketball travels to Braintree for a 5 p.m. game

5. Voices Against Violence Receives $7,000 Grant. The MetroWest Health Foundation awarded the grant to the Framingham-based domestic violence and rape crisis program.
