5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: February 25
Reception at Amazing Things Arts Center for teachers in new gallery show. Update on crash on Route 30 Wednesday.

1. A 3-vehicle crash tied up Route 30 Wednesday during the 3 p.m. hour. Two people suffered minor injuries, and were transported to the hospital by ambulances. Two vehicles were towed.
The Route 30 lights were flashing at Whittier Street when a car crossed the intersection and struck a truck. The truck flipped on its side, and slid into a minivan said Framingham Police Lt. Harry Wareham. The crash is still under investigation.
2. Framingham-based TJX Companies, Inc., the off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. and worldwide, announced it surpassed $30 billion in sales in 2015. The company saw sales increase in the fourth quarter and overall for the year. The company opened new stores in 2015, and for the 20th consecutive year the company has raised the dividend. 3. Open mic night at Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham tonight. Music starts at 8.
4. The U.S. Social Security Administration is moving its downtown Framingham office. The current 100 Concord Street, suite 2A office will close later this month, and there will be limited service available at that office today, Feb. 25 and tomorrow. The Framingham office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

5. There is a reception tonight from at the Amazing Things Arts Center for artists included in the new MetroWest art teachers’ exhibit that opening this week.
The art will be on display at the downtown Framingham gallery through March 26. The gallery is open Tuesdays through Saturdays noon to 6 p.m.
