3. Cat and the Moon will take the stage at Amazing Things Arts Center in downtown Framingham tonight.

Cat and The Moon offers a unique interpretation of traditional bluegrass and Celtic music through bold and original compositions that showcase the true range of their eclecticism and talent, according to Amazing Things.
They released their first self-titled CD in October 2015. Cat and The Moon was invited to play at the Freshgrass Festival in September 2015 and have been featured at the Boston Irish Festival and Milton Music Festival.
The band is comprised of Ricky Mier, Eamon Sefton, Kathleen Parks, Charles Bethoud & Elias Alexander.
Tickets stat at $18, with discounts for students, seniors, and children. Show starts at 8 p.m.
4. Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito were in Framingham Thursday morning to officially award Framingham a $125,000 grant to create a micro-enterprise center in Framingham. Click here for more details and a slideshow of photos.
