5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: March 1
No school for most Framingham students. Curriculum night at Framingham High. Today is the presidential primary. Go Vote!
1. Today is the presidential primary in Framingham. The polls will be open from 7 a.m.to 8 p.m. in town. There are 18 precincts. Voters will pick a presidential candidate, elect state and Framingham committee members. For more information on the ballot, click here.
2. There is no school for Framingham Public School students today, March 1. There is classes for staff and teachers however. Framingham will hold a professional development day on Tuesday, in which staff members will teach classes for their colleagues.
The Christa McAuliffe Charter School and Saint Bridget School students all have no school today.

3. Parents of incoming Framingham High freshman are invited to curriculum night at the high school at 7 in the auditorium. Click here for more details.
4. Beth Beloff will lead the Main Framingham Library Book Club discussion tonight at 7 at the McAuliffe Library branch. The discussing will be on Michael Cunningham’s book A Home at the End of the World.

5. FLYERS in the Playoffs:
- For the first time in 8 years, the Framingham High boys basketball team has qualified for post-season play. The Flyers, with a record of 10-10, have a bye in the first round, but will travel to Worcester for a quarterfinal round game on March 3rd against #2 seeded Holy Name.
- The Framingham High boys ice hockey team will host a MIAA Division 1 South playoff game on Wednesday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Loring Arena.
- Framingham High girls dance team finished third at the state dance competition to qualify for the New England Interscholastic Dance Championships at Braintree High on Saturday.
