Framingham State is hosting a Holocaust Remembrance Day event.

1. , the nonprofit public access corporation for the town of Framingham, has a new partnership with the Talking Information Center (TIC), an award-winning radio reading service for the blind and visually impaired.

“As part of our mission to engage and serve this community, we think this alliance with the Talking Information Center is a wonderful way to help facilitate the exchange of ideas and information for a wide audience,” said Access Framingham Executive Director Bill McColgan.

2. Monday, April 30, is Holocaust Remembrance Day at . In remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust, the History Club has organized a reading of the names of all of the victims, which will be read from a podium on the University green from 11:30 to 2:20 p.m. At 5 p.m. at the campus Ecumenical Center, a survivor of the Holocaust and a member of Schindler’s List, Rena Finder, will speak about her experiences during the Holocaust.
3. Friday, May 4, from 7:45 to 10 a.m., is the 20th annual MERC (MetroWest Economic Research Center) conference. Framingham State University students and faculty will review and analyze all types of economic data for the region. Fee is $20. The event is being held at The Verve at the Crowne Plaza, Natick.
