UPDATE: Tree Knocks Out Power To 7% of Framingham
During the outage, Eversource reported about 2,000 customers without power, including one elementary school, which had to go on a generator.

About 7 percent of Framingham was without power for less than an hour after a tree fell on wires on Potter Road around 9:30 a.m., said Eversource spokesperson Michael Durand.
“We had power restored to 800 (customers) within two minutes and the remaining 1,200 in about a half-hour,” said Durand.

Among those customers who lost power was Potter Road Elementary School, which operated on a generator for more than an hour.

Eversource is reporting about 2,000 customers without power in the Potter Road neighborhood in Framingham.
The power outage was reported just after 9:30 a.m.
It is not known at the moment what caused the outage.
Eversource says about 7 percent of Framingham is without power.
Neighboring Sudbury is reporting 8 percent of the town without power, or about 550 customers.
