9 Years For Man In Framingham Robbery, Peabody Kidnapping
Federal prosecutors say Breno Henrique DaSilva, 22, was a member of a Brazilian gang.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Somerville man who committed an armed robbery in Framingham in 2019 will spend nine years in federal prison, according to federal prosecutors.
Breno Henrique DaSilva, 22, of Somerville, was sentenced last week after pleading guilty in October to charges of conspiracy to conduct enterprise affairs by a pattern of racketeering and conspiracy to commit robbery. Prosecutors said he also committed an armed robbery in Stoughton, and kidnapped a woman in Peabody in 2019 as part of an inter-gang dispute.
According to prosecutors, DaSilva was a member of the Brazilian Primeiro Comando da Massachusetts gang, whose members authorities believe are involved in violence and drug trafficking across the state.
