AAA: For 10th Consecutive Week, Gas Prices Drop

The Massachusetts price is three cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $1.70.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Gasoline prices in Massachusetts have fallen another four cents, the tenth consecutive week of decreases, according to AAA Northeast, which has an office in Framingham.

AAA’s February 15 survey of prices in Massachusetts finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $1.73 per gallon, four cents lower than last week.

The Massachusetts price is three cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $1.70.

A year ago at this time, the average price in Massachusetts was 48 cents higher at $2.21.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 42 cents, from a low of $1.57 to a high of $1.99.
