AAA: Massachusetts Gas Prices Under $2

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 44 cents, from a low of $1.55 to a high of $1.99.

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts have fallen 3 more cents and are down for the 11th consecutive week, according to AAA Northeast, which has an office in Framingham.

AAA’s February 22 survey of prices in Massachusetts finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $1.70 per gallon, three cents lower than last week.

The Massachusetts price is one cent below the national average for regular unleaded of $1.71.

A year ago at this time, the average price in Massachusetts was 55 cents higher at $2.25.
