Alert: Overnight Bridge Work Could Impede Traffic Friday Into Saturday
Large portions of the Winter Street Bridge will be dismantled and carried away.

FOUNTAIN STREET BRIDGE OVERNIGHT WORK WILL IMPACT TRAFFIC LATE FRIDAY EVENING
Friday, February 3rd at 10:00PM in the evening, large portions of steel beams and concrete deck sections from the bridge will be dismantled and loaded by cranes into awaiting trucks.

This operation is carefully choreographed to begin after the final train passes at approximately 1:15AM on Saturday, February 4th.
Operations will continue through the morning until approximately 12:00 NOON on Saturday.

Vehicular traffic in the area will be impacted and drivers are encouraged to expect delays and seek an alternate route.
