Arlene Ann (Scansaroli) Chao, 81, NYNEX Worker for 35 Years

Arlene Ann (Scansaroli) Chao, 81, of Milford, formerly of Framingham died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Genesis Health Care Center, Milford.

She was the wife of Joseph A. Chao who died in 1991.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Premo Joseph and Jenny Marie (Alluzio) Scansaroli.

Chao was a graduate of Framingham High School and Framingham State College.

She worked for the NYNEX Telephone Company for 35 years as a Manager.

Chao was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and Framingham Heart Study. She enjoyed her daily crypt-o-grams and crossword puzzles in pen. She was also an avid New England Patriots fan.

She is survived by her three children; Sherry Chao, Steven Chao and his wife Ann Marie (Pageot) and Patricia Chao and husband Steven Bush, six grandchildren; Jennie Tougas, Christopher Chao, Corina Chao, Amanda Bush, Megan Bush and Jake Bush, one great Grandchild; Justin Molloy. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Benoit and husband Jack of East Boston, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her sister Jean Olaski and her many cherished dogs.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours on Friday, Fe. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home in Framingham.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.
