Big Changes — And Burritos — In Store For Neko's Of New York
The Saxonville pizza favorite will close down for a move, and the owners are planning to launch a new restaurant.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Saxonville favorite Neko's Of New York will close for a move to a new location. And in its place, the owner is planning to open a to-go burrito spot.
In a Facebook post this week, Neko's said it would close within two weeks to move south to the new Old Path Village plaza at 969 Concord St. The new Saxonville Burrito Company will take over Neko's former location at 1645 Concord St. (previously home of Zeta Pizzeria, and before that Georgio's Pizza).
"I have made the decision today of shutting down Neko's of New York in the Saxonville location," the March 3 Facebook post said. "This will take place in the next 2 weeks as we gear up to launch Saxonville Burrito Company. So, you will not have Nekos for a few weeks when we pull the trigger to make the transition."

There isn't a Saxonville Burrito Company menu available yet, but the Facebook post indicates that it will be for takeout only, and the menu will be different from the current Neko's sandwich and wraps offerings.
Neko's is the second Saxonville restaurant to move south into the Old Path Village plaza.
