Brett Walker Campaign Kick-Off Friday in Framingham

The Committee to Elect Brett Walker will be hosting a campaign kick-off event Friday, Feb. 5 at John Harvard’s Brewery and Ale House in Framingham from 5 to 7 p.m.

Walker, an Ashland resident, is a candidate for the 7th Middlesex District representative seat.

Friday’s event party will features free food and free brewery tours. It will be family-friendly and includes children’s entertainment. All are welcome to come to enjoy themselves, meet Walker and learn about the campaign (as well as learn about zythology - the science of beer-making).

Walker is one of four candidates who have announced a campaign for the seat currently held by Rep. Tom Sannicandro.

Sannicandro, Democrat from Ashland, announced in November that he would not seek re-election, after serving the district for over a decade.

The 7th Middlesex District includes Ashland and a third of Framingham’s 18 precincts (8, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18).

The election will be in November. If needed, a primary will be held in September.
