Framingham Police said they have arrested a man who robbed a gas station on Union Avenue earlier this month.

Framingham Police said they have arrested a man, who robbed a gas station on Union Avenue earlier this month.
Benjamin Amell, 32, of 7 Deloss Street in Framingham was arrested at his apartment very early Friday morning.
Amell was charged with armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife) and intimidation of a witness.

On Feb. 17, the U.S. Petroleum gas station at 206 Union Avenue was robbed by a man, who wore a hooded sweatshirt and a flowered scarf over his face. He held a knife to the gas station attendant.
The clerk gave the man $130, according to Police. The man then escaped on a child’s bicycle.

Police searched for the suspect but couldn’t find the suspect.
