Captured: Man Wanted For Stealing 100-Plus Lottery Scratch Tickets

Over the weekend, police arrested a man wanted for stealing lottery tickets, after he cashed in more than 2 dozen winning tickets.

Robert F. Wagner, Jr., 36 of New York was arrested and charged with 25 counts of uttering and three counts of larceny.

Wagner was arrested on Saturday morning, Feb. 27, after an investigation by by a Massachusetts State Trooper.

Wagner, according to police, cashed in 2 more than 2 dozen winning scratch lottery tickets on Route 9 in Framingham. It is unknown how much the winning tickets were worth.

Police said Wagner on the morning of Feb. 17 at the gas station at 172 Union Avenue in Framingham, the suspect stole more than 100 scratch lottery tickets around 8:30.
