  • Since Wednesday, one resident has tested positive for COVID-19: The number of people in the City who have tested positive for COVID-19 is 8,352. With 8,019 recovered and 250 fatalities, Framingham currently has 83 active cases. The Framingham Health Department contacts the people who were potentially exposed and the owners of the businesses or places of employment where the potential exposures occurred to inform and counsel them on next steps (contact tracing). The Health Department is working in the State's database to update the status of cases in quarantine, so the number is accurate. Once that work is complete, the City will report on the number of cases in quarantine.
  • First In-person Community Hour since the pandemic scheduled Tuesday, June 29, at Memorial Building: Mayor Yvonne M. Spicer will host the first in-person Community Hour since the pandemic on Tuesday, June 29, 5-6 p.m. at the Memorial Building, 150 Concord Street, in the Ablondi Room (gathering room across from the Mayor’s office). Beginning April 21, 2020, Mayor Spicer conducted her near-weekly Community Hour remotely on Zoom rather than in person, as she would historically, due to the pandemic. Please join Mayor Spicer Tuesday in-person and bring your questions and comments.
