*As Case Load Remains Low, City to Shift COVID-19 Communication from Three Times a Week to Once a Week on Wednesdays Starting in July**State’s Project Beacon Drive-through COVID-19 Testing Site on Maple Street to Close Sunday, July 4, for Independence Day and Reopen Monday, July 5*

*The Memorial Building and Other Non-essential Municipal Buildings will be Closed Monday, July 5, in Observance of the Independence Day Holiday*

  • Since Monday, one resident has tested positive for COVID-19: The number of people in the City who have tested positive for COVID-19 is 8,354. With 8,029 recovered and 250 fatalities, Framingham currently has 75 active cases. The Framingham Health Department contacts the people who were potentially exposed and the owners of the businesses or places of employment where the potential exposures occurred to inform and counsel them on next steps (contact tracing). In addition to the active cases, the Health Department is following *256 residents in quarantine.*Note: The City's COVID team is working in the State's data system to move lapsed or pending cases into the correct status.
  • Health Department Distributes Demographic COVID-19 and Vaccination Data: The City's Department of Public Health distributes demographic COVID-19 data about confirmed COVID-19 cases and vaccination efforts in Framingham. Reference today's data release here.
