Cotoni Part of Emerson's Production of Lizzie Stranton

Meghan Cotoni of Framingham, who’s majoring in Theater Studies: Acting at Emerson College, is part of Emerson Stage’s production of Lizzie Stranton as Cynthia.

Lizzie Stranton is set in 2016. The place is much like here: The economy’s in the toilet, gender politics are all over the place, the world is at war. One woman (and her friends) decide that the best way to take action is to not get any (action, that is). It’s a fresh, funny, fiercely relevant rewrite of Lysistrata.

Emerson’s production is directed by Lee Mikeska Gardner and will run from February 4-7, at the Greene Theatre at Emerson College.
