Dog Attacks, Kills Another Dog In Callahan Park

FRAMINGHAM, MA—A large dog attacked a small dog, killing the smaller dog, at Callahan Park in Framingham on Sunday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m., Animal Control was contacted and arrived at the park to talk with both owners of the dogs, reports the Callahan Dog Owners Group.

"Be assured that Framingham Animal Control is involved, so the correct protocols are being followed," said Bob Cawly, president of Callahan Dog Owners Group, in a statement. "The CalDog Board of Directors wants to express their condolences to the friends and family of the deceased."
