Edgell Road Construction Begins Today

Roadway construction is underway on Edgell Road between Central Street and Oak Street. Traffic going southbound will be detoured from Edgell Rd. to Belknap Road, from Belknap to Grove Street. From there, commuters can expect to go to Vernon Street to Oak Street and then back onto Edgell.

According to the Department of Public Works, road construction will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

An alternate route for trucks will send all southbound traffic onto Belknap Road before traveling onto Pleasant Street and Temple Street onto Rte. 9.
