Flyers Dance Places 3rd at States; Qualifies For NE Championships

The Framingham High dance team will compete at the New England Interscholastic Dance Championships Saturday in Braintree.

The Framingham High School dance team finished third at the MSSAA State Dance Championships over the weekend.

The third place finish in the hip-hop division qualified the Flyers for the New England Interscholastic Dance Championships at Braintree High on Saturday, March 5 at 2 p.m.

Last Tuesday, the Flyers finished third at the Bay State Conference Dance Championships at Framingham High.

The Flyers are led by captain Ariel Luria. Other team members are Bruna Barbalho, Allyson Rodriguez, Erin MacQueen, Careena Uppaluri, Jasmynne Ramos, and Delylah Garcia.

The team is coached by Lea Needham-Wood.

The Flyers were undefeated in competitions prior to the Bay State Conference Championships.
