Flyers Vs Rebels Game To Benefit Injured Hockey Player
A 50-50 raffle during Wednesday's hockey game will benefit Boston Pride hockey player Denna Laing, who injured her spine on Dec. 31.

During the Framingham High boys ice hockey game against the Rebels of Walpole Wednesday night at Loring Arena, a 50-50 raffle will be held to benefit the Denna Laing Fund.
Laing, a Boston Pride hockey player, was injured during the women’s hockey game during the Winter Classic at Gillette Stadium on Dec. 31.
Laing played for the Assabet Valley youth hockey teams growing up in Marblehead, before eventually leading the Princeton University women’s hockey teams at captain her junior and senior year.

Several Framingham girls hockey players also have played for the Assabet Valley teams, and still do now. Laing’s dad Dennis coaches for Assabet Valley.
The Flyers wanted to support the Fund hat has been established for Laing, who suffered a significant spinal injury in the women’s outdoor game at the Winter Classic in Foxboro.
