Flyers Win Quad Meet; Now 10-4 This Season

Framingham High's wrestling team defeated Wellesley, Norwood, and Weymouth Saturday. The Flyers are 6-1 in the Bay State Conference.

The Framingham High wrestling team won a quad meet on Saturday. The Flyers defeated Wellesley, Weymouth and Norwood.


In the Flyers first match of the day against Wellesley, senior captain Mike Ramos, sophomore Adam Levine, Sophomore Willy Bru, sophomore Bella Ricchiazzi and sophomore Clay Scata all won their varsity matches to help the Flyers defeat Wellesley 46 to 18.

In their second match of the day senior captain Marlin Lamas, junior captain Pablo Ugata, junior. Joseph Tolson, junior. Jordan Shapiro, junior. Ikaro Monterio, sophomore Dylan O’Brian and sophomore Adam Levine helped the Flyers to their second win of the day defeating Weymouth 46 to 31.

In their third match of the day Lamas, Mike Ramos, sophomore Trevor Smith, Levine and Sophomore Willy Brou helped the Flyers to their third win of the day beating Norwood 41 to 12.

The Framingham High wrestling team is now 10-4 on the season.

Next up for the wrestlers is a meet against the Tigers of Newton North at home on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
