Former Framingham High School Student Angel Colon Survived Orlando, FL Shooting

FRAMINGHAM, MA - The man who offered the first account of Saturday's mass shooting in Orlando, FL is a former Fuller Middle School and Framingham High school student, according to a release from the school department.

Angel Colon was shot three times in the leg and, today, addressed the media.

"I would love to give my story out so everyone can know of what is going on in this community and how some people are just so heartless and how we're treated," Colon said.

In a statement, Framingham Public Schools said Colon was a former Framingham student.

"The Framingham Public School system would like to offer its sincere hope and best wishes for a full recovery," said a statement from the schools.

"We would also like to offer our heartfelt condolences and best wishes for the other victims, their friends and family, and the entire Orlando community as they try to heal from this senseless tragedy."
