The Framingham Bantam A’s hockey team has qualified for the semifinals of the state’s hockey tournament at Loring Arena on Sunday.
Framingham is hosting the Bantam state championships.
The Bantam A’s will battle Canton on Sunday in the semifinal round. The puck drops at noon. The winner will play in the finals at 7 Sunday night.

Framingham qualified for the semifinal round with a 2-1 record in the tourney.
Four hockey teams advanced out of the 10 participants. The other semifinal is Barnstable vs Braintree at 1 p.m.

Framingham defeated Winchester 7-1 on Thursday. Defeated Reading 6-0 Saturday morning, but lost to Barnstable 5-4 last night.
Robbie Lopez, an eighth grader, and Mike Tersoni, a Framingham High freshman, each scored five goals each in the trio of games.
Admission to the games is free on Sunday.
