Framingham Beaches Open June 20

Summer is just about here and Framingham's beaches are ready for another season in the sun.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — It's a busy week in Framingham, with school ending and the official start of summer right around the corner, the opening of city beaches couldn't be timed better. Framingham has three city-owned beaches that will all open on Thursday, June 20.

Framingham's three beaches are Learneds Pond; located on Shawmut Terrace, Saxonville Beach; located on Lake Road and Lake Waushakum; located on Nipmuc Terrace. The beaches are open everyday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 20 to August 15.

There is a fee to get into the beaches and beach tags went on sale last week. Beach Tags are sold online or at the Recreation Office. It costs $15 per resident and$30 per non-resident; $40 per resident family and $70 per non-resident family.
