Framingham Selectman Chair Charlie Sisitsky announced the Sisters of Saint Joseph and Town can not make a deal for Special Town Meeting

Framingham Selectman Chair Charlie Sisitsky announced the Sisters of Saint Joseph and Framingham school district can not make a deal to purchase land for a potential new school by the Special Town Meeting set for Feb. 23.
There was a meeting last Thursday between the Sisters of St. Joseph, the Superintendent of Schools. the Town Manager, and staffs and they were unable to “reach an agreement” said Sisitsky Tuesday night at the Selectmen’s meeting.
The school department is still actively meeting with the broker and discussion are ongoing, said Town Manaher Bob Halpin, but it is unlikely to be “resolved between now and Feb. 23.”
