Framingham Coronavirus Test Site Closing, Will Move

The drive-up test site along Franklin Street will move to a Maple Street parking lot by May 7.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A longstanding drive-up coronavirus testing site in Framingham will close on Sunday before moving to a new location by the end of the first week of May, according to city officials.

The drive-up site at 484 Franklin St. has been open in Framingham since December. The new site will open by May 7 at 123 Maple St., which is a Framingham State University commuter lot.

The site will remain free to anyone with appointments available online through the Project Beacon website.

The walk-up testing site at St. Tarcisius, 562 Waverly St., will remain open while the drive-up site transitions. Walk-up testing is available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and on Wednesdays and Fridays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
