Framingham Dance Team Earns Third Win

The Flyers dance team won the Shepherd Hill Winter Invitational Dance Championship over the weekend.

The Framingham High Dance Team is now 3-0, after winning the Shepherd Hill Winter Invitational on Friday.

The Flyers took first place in the dance division, said head coach Lea Needham.

Next up for the Flyers is the Bay State Conference Cheer & Dance Championships on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at Framingham High.

The Flyers are led by captain Ariel Luria. Other team members are Bruna Barbalho, Allyson Rodriguez, Erin MacQueen, Careena Uppaluri, Jasmynne Ramos, and Delylah Garcia.

Last week, the dance team won the Winter Warm Up Competition, and the Flyers won the Eye of The Tiger Invitational on Valentine’s Day.

Saturday, Feb. 27 is the MSSAA Winter State Dance Championships in Needham.
