Framingham Ghost Stories for Friday the 13th
You might have to sleep with the lights on tonight.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Friday the 13th is approaching and Wayland ghosts could be coming out to play. Here are some Framingham ghost stories that we've found around the internet. We can't guarantee that the stories are true, but isn't it more fun to believe they are?
Framingham State University:
Framingham State University's campus is rumored to be haunted. Pierce Hall and Horace Mann Hall are believed to have the most spiritual activity, according to a post by HerCampus. A tunnel system was designed to allow students to travel between the residence halls in bad weather but the tunnels were shut down after a young woman died in a tunnel fire, HerCampus reported.

Strange noises, cold spots and "orb" photographs have been reported on the campus, HerCampus reported. A ghost in Pierce Hall was reportedly notorious for moving mirrors outside of dorm rooms before mirrors were nailed to the wall. Ghosts have also been reported to interrupt rehearsals at the Helen Heineman Ecumenical Center, the post said.

A submission written on GhostsofAmerica.com, written by someone identified only as Pam, claimed there are ghosts in the Framingham Civic League Auditorium. Pam wrote that in 1994 she was backstage by herself during a theatrical rehearsal when she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. As the age-old classic goes: when she turned around nobody was there.
Bethany Apartments:
Another submission to the GhostsofAmerica.com claims the ghost of a nun haunts the third floor of the Bethany Hill apartments on Bethany Road. The writer, identified as Jon, said at least three people have also seen a white cloud ghost with no human shape crossing the road towards the graveyard.
Haunted Houses:
Several GhostsofAmerica.com writers also reported haunted houses in Framingham. A writer claimed to have seen two "shadow men" walking toward them in the night as a child in a home on Wilson Avenue. Someone who used to live in a duplex on Berry Street said as a child they saw a black shadowy figure standing outside of their sister's room. A house on Appledor Road that has since been torn down reportedly had a ghost that liked to go through kitchen silverware.
