Parents should bring a copy of their daughter’s or son’s course recommendations.

“Proper initial course placement and understanding of high school academic expectations can go a long way towards easing what can be a difficult transition for some students,“ said Framingham High Principal Elyse Torbert.

Parents of current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students can speak with department heads starting at 7 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria, about their child’s classes for next year.

Incoming freshman, or current 8th grade parents, will go to the cafeteria at 7:30 p.m.
