Framingham High Teams Win Robotics Competition
Two Walsh Middle and two Framingham High teams qualified for the New England robotics competition over the weekend.

A Framingham High robotics team was part of the alliance that won a tournament at Quinsigamond Community College, over the weekend.
Thirty-six middle school teams and 41 high school teams participated in the tournament on January 16 in Worcester.
Two Framingham High teams were part of the three-team alliance that were tournament champions.

Of the five Framingham High School teams participating, three made it to the quarterfinals and two were on the same alliance that made it all the way to the finals. And ultimately those two teams were part of the alliance that won the tournament.

Along with member of Worcester’s South High School team, the teens won the tournament and qualified for the Southern New England Nothing But Net Championship (High School Division) in March.
Five teams from Walsh Middle School also competed over the weekend.
Two of the Walsh teams, WalshBots - Revolution (9791C) and WalshBots - Espanol (9791E), made it all the way to the finals only to lose to an alliance made up of Burncoat Middle School, Leominster Youth Robotics and Locke Middle School.
The two Walsh teams also qualified for the Southern New England Nothing But Net Championship (Middle School Division) in late February.
