Framingham Hosting Bantam A's State Hockey Tournament
Games begin at Loring Arena Thursday, Feb. 25.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Starting today, Feb. 25, Framingham’s Bantam A’s will host the state hockey tournament at Loring Arena.
Teams competing are Winchester, Natick, Reading, Barnstable, Andover, Braintree, Canton, Brewins (Bridgewater/Raynham & surrounding towns) and Framingham.
Framingham boasts 9 different hockey teams at various levels, who are all competing for a state championship this year in various locations across the state.

Bantam level kids are 13 and 14 years of age.
Loring Arena will be a flurry of activity this weekend, beginning Thursday evening, with a large raffle table, great concessions and, appearing on Saturday, sports apparel for sale by Northwest Designs, who can create custom designs on the premises. All proceeds from the raffle will be going to the Denna Laing Fund, the Boston Pride and former Princeton Hockey player who was severely injured while playing at the Winter Classic in January.

Admission is free; parking is free, and $2.00 in quarters will provide heat to a whole bleachers section for an entire game.
Fans in the stands will help Framingham take full home ice advantage.
Game times are:
1. Thursday, February 25: 7:10 to 8:10 p.m.
2. Saturday, February 27: - 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
3. Saturday, February 27: - 7:30 pm to 8:30 p.m.
4. Semi Finals are scheduled for Sunday, February 28 at either noon to 1 pm or 1:10 pm – 2:10 pm
5. Finals are Sunday, February 28: 7 to 8 p.m.
Next weekend, Framingham and Loring Arena will host the PeeWee Tier IV State Tournament.
