UPDATED: Framingham Man Indicted on Rape, Strangulation, and Suffocation Charges

A Framingham man was indicted on charges of rape, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, suffocation, and strangulation by a Middlesex County grand jury this week.

Alton Maurice Long, 29, of Guadalcanal Road was arrested by Holliston Police in May 2015 on the above charges.

Long knew the women, he is accused of assaulting. The attack, according to investigators, took place in the woman’s home. The woman was treated for injuries at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.

As per state law, domestic violence arrests are no longer available to the public in the police log.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney is Sarah Fallon.
