Framingham Police Seek Hit-And-Run Driver

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham police are on the hunt for the driver of an SUV involved in a hit-and-run on Thursday afternoon.

The collision happened just after 5 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Auburn Street and Edgell Road, which is adjacent to the Framingham Centre Common on the north side of Route 9.

The pedestrian was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk with lights flashing, police said. The person was not seriously injured.

The driver was described as a white woman who was operating a green Jeep. The license plate contains the numbers 7468, police said.
