Framingham School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The first day of school in Framingham is August 29 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Framingham County School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 8/30: First Day for Kindergarten

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/4: First Day of Pre-K
• 9/10: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/18: Early Release (Elementary School)
• 10/18: Early Release (Middle School)
• 10/25: Early Release (Elementary School)

November

• 11/1: Early Release (Elementary School)
• 11/1: Early Release (Middle School)
• 11/6: No School (Elementary, Middle and High School)
• 11/8: Evening Conferences (Elementary School)
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/21: Half Day (Elementary, Middle and High School)
• 11/21: No Pre-K
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/6: Early Release (Elementary, Middle and High School)
