Framingham Seeks 'Porch Portraits' Showing Life Amid Coronavirus
The Framingham Public Library will use the photos on social media.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham Public Library has mounted a project to collect images of city residents coping with coronavirus — from the safety of their home porch.
The library is seeking "porch portraits" depicting life during coronavirus. Once submitted, the images will be shared on the library's social media pages.
"Get creative! Show off your mask making skills, hold a sign, or wave your favorite book," the library says. "Wear a costume or silly hat! Include beloved pets, or wear your pajamas!"

Many residents are responding already, with some pictures showing residents with their pets, or dressed in one of those cartoonish tyrannosaurus rex costumes.
