Framingham State Opens Rams Center For Those In Need

"Food insecurity has become a serious issue among college students."

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Framingham State University is opening its new Rams Resource Center, celebrating with a grand opening on Monday, Sept. 24, at 11:30 a.m. in the West Hall Room 106.

"Food insecurity has become a serious issue among college students, so FSU is opening its own food pantry (as well as toiletries etc.) that will be available to students in need," said Daniel J. Magazu, communications director.

A food drive among the FSU community helped to raise more than 1,000 pounds of items to stock the RRC, 500 pounds over the initial goal.
