“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome our members and the public back to the museum,” says Director and Curator Jessica Roscio. “We have spent the past several weeks planning for our reopening by strictly adhering to the safety guidelines put in place by the state. We are excited to offer our patrons a safe and enjoyable experience in our beautiful galleries.”

The museum will initially open with limited days/hours of Thursday-Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. The museum will open to members only on July 30 and 31 and then to the public on Aug. 1. In order to avoid any crowds, advance registration is required via Eventbrite, which can be reached at Danforth.framingham.edu. Additional safety precautions include requiring all patrons to wear face coverings and maintain six feet of social distance within the galleries. Hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the museum and additional spot cleaning of “touch” services will be done regularly.
