Framingham: Want to Be An Extra in a Mark Walberg Movie?

Have you ever wanted to appear as an extra in a major film? How about one featuring one of the area's brightest stars?

Extras are being sought for the movie Patriots Day, starring Dorchester native Mark Wahlberg.

Boston Casting will be holding an open casting call on Sunday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 129 Braintree St. in Allston.

The film is aiming to re-create the Boston Marathon Bombings, as well as the response from authorities.

The film's producers are seeking general extras over the age of 18, police and SWAT team officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses, paramedics, and marathon runners.

Those cast will be involved in shooting from March 29 through May 31.

Those auditioning are asked to bring a photo of themselves.
