Framingham's Grindeland in Emerson College's Production of Richard III

Katie Grindeland is majoring in theatre education at Emerson College in Boston. Performances are Feb. 18-21.

BOSTON, MA - Katie Grindeland of Framingham, who’s majoring in Theatre Education: Acting at Emerson College, is part of Emerson Stage’s production of Richard III as Murderer II.

Standing in the peaceful aftermath of a bloody civil war, a king’s youngest brother - a master of manipulation and wit despite his unpleasant face and unsound body - takes stock of his chances and resolves to claw his way to power at any cost.

Emerson’s production is directed by Maureen Shea and will run from February 18-21, at the Semel Theatre in Boston at Emerson College. Tickets are still available.

As the producing organization of the Department of Performing Arts, Emerson Stage trains students on stage and off to be the next generation of theater artists. Student actors, designers, stage managers, technicians, and educators work side-by-side with faculty, professional staff, and visiting artists to perfect their skills and deepen their understanding for their craft and the role theater plays in enriching our culture and community.
