FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham's yard waste collection facility will close for the winter this month, which means it's time to get out into the yard and get raking before the next snowstorm hits.

The Dudley Road yard waste facility will close on Dec. 20, and will remain open (weather-permitting) until then. The facility is open Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

To use the facility, residents must have a valid recycling permit. The center accepts waste like grass clippings, plant waste and weeds. Waste in paper bags can be left on site. The Dudley Road facility does not accept compost.
