Fuller Middle School Principal Leaving After Rough Year
Fuller Middle School Principal Sharon Seyller will serve as principal in another school district next year.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Fuller Middle School Principal Sharon Seyller wrote a letter to parents Thursday morning informing them that she would be moving on.
Seyller, who was hired in 2013, did not give a reason for why she was leaving but wrote that her last day will be June 30.
"It is with mixed emotions that I share with you that I have accepted a principal position in another school district," Seyller wrote.

Seyller wrote a letter to parents in March letting them know that she was looking at other opportunities.
"I am writing to update you that I have been approached by other school districts about leadership positions for the next school year. After further discussion with my family, I have decided to explore these opportunities and will be interviewing with them at their request in the very near future. I wanted you to hear it directly from me first," she wrote in the March letter.

Seyller also wrote that she was "aware of the struggles" at Fuller Middle School and would continue to address them.
Seyller had been criticized by parents at a public forum for her lack of transparency and the increase in physical aggression among students.
A student was caught with a knife on school property in February. In December, a BB gun was found in a locker and a student was assaulted and hospitalized within the same week. There have been numerous other reports of violence among students over the months.
