Funeral Tuesday for Renzo Franzini, 78
For more than 37 years he worked at Avery-Dennison Corp. He was also a bus driver for the Framingham Public Schools for a decade.

Renzo Franzini, 78, of Framingham, died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
He was the husband of 54 years to Lorraine (Elhilow) Franzini of Framingham.
Born in Morfasso, di Piacenza, Italy, he was the son of the late Luigi and Amabile (Carini) Franzini.

Franzini worked for over 37 years as a Photoengraver and Supervisor for Avery-Dennison Corp., formerly Dennison Mfg. Co. of Framingham.
Following his retirement from Avery-Dennison he drove a school bus for 10 years for the Town of Framingham.

Franzini was a member of the Columbus Club of Framingham for over 50 years. He was an avid Bocce player and competed in Bocce tournaments around New England.
He enjoyed spending time with family at cookouts, Sunday dinners and vacations on Cape Cod.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Marc Franzini and his wife Marie of Milford, Louis Franzini of Hudson, NH and Diane Franzini of Framingham; two grand-daughters, Kristen and Brianna Franzini both of Milford. He is also survived by his siblings, Maria Sidoli and her husband Gaetano of Framingham, Elda Pessini of St. Johnsbury, VT, Victor Franzini and his wife Jean of Framingham and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother in law of the late Robert Pessini.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 8 at 10 a.m. at St. George Church, 74 School St., Framingham.
Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.
