UPDATED: Governor Baker Swears in Janet Leombruno

Leombruno, who is an elected Framingham Town Meeting member, was appointed to the 5-member Framingham Housing Authority.

BOSTON, MA - Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker sworn in Janet Leombruno to the Framingham Housing Authority ceremoniously, yesterday. Jan. 13.

Leombruno, who is an elected Town Meeting member, was appointed to the 5-member Framingham Housing Authority last month. She replaces Faith Tolson-Pierce.

The Massachusetts Governor is allowed one appointment to the Authority’s Board of Commissioners.

Leombruno, a Republican, served as a special assistant to now Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito, during the 2014 governor’s race. The Lt. Governor attended the ceremony Wednesday, Jan. 13. at the State House. Leombruno was already sworn in officially by the Framingham Town Clerk earlier.

Leombruno also serves as a Republican State Committee member for the Second Middlesex and Norfolk district, which includes Framingham, Ashland, Holliston, Hopkinton, Medway, and parts of Franklin and Natick.
