Hanson's Farm In Framingham Opening Earth Day Market
With no Framingham Earth Day Festival in 2021, Hanson's is stepping in with an Earth Day event.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Although Framingham's usual Earth Day festival is canceled in 2021, more events are popping up to fill the void.
Hanson's Farm said this week it will open a special farmers market in April featuring products like perennial flowers and plants, ice cream, fresh lemonade — and possibly Hanson's famous cider doughnuts.
The market will also feature a variety of local vendors: Cousins Maine Lobster, Handmade By Tiffany soap and body products, Brookfield Candle, custom jeweler Alli's Ascendant, Velma's Kettle Corn, Everything Alpaca and Great Harvest Bread Company.

The organizers behind the usual Framingham Earth Day Festival and Keep Framingham Beautiful are hosting the "Great Framingham Cleanup" on April 17. The organizers want to enlist at least 100 local residents to pick up litter around the city, and then share their activities on social media.
The Hanson's Earth Day market will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 24 at 20 Nixon Road.
