Framingham Patch editor and owner of Petroni Media Company Susan Scully Petroni will help with both questions when she presents a public relations and marketing workshop, as part of the Framingham Public Library’s Brown Bag Learning series in February.

The hour-long presentation is Friday, Feb. 5 from noon to 1 p.m. at Edgell Memorial Library, hosted by the Framingham History Center, as the main Framingham Library is still closed.

Petroni, who has been in the journalism field for more than three decades, and has experience in public relations and marketing, will present:

  • Concrete tips on how to write a press release, that will get published by news outlets.
  • How blogging can increase your audience.
  • Explain how social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc) can increase traffic and engagement.
  • Show ways to improve your photography skills.
  • Answer your public relations and marketing questions.
  • Explain and offer advice on how to use content marketing
